- Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Magdy El-Hegary, Dean of the Faculty And led by Dr. Wafaa Ghoneim Shousha, Head of the Chemistry Department The Chemistry Department organized a seminar titled "Energy Storage: The Chemistry Behind the Language of Modern Power" This took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in the seminar hall.
The seminar was given by Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Abdel Latif, researcher and head of the lithium-ion batteries project at the Solar and Hydrogen Energy Research Center in Germany.
The seminar addressed the goals of relying on electric battery applications, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and reducing the carbon footprint, which will address the challenges of climate change.
It also discussed the development of electric batteries and increasing their efficiency through operation and recharging in the shortest possible time.
